Signal Design Engineers (4 Positions).

Brief Description of Role:
The main purpose of this role is to carry out detailed signalling designs and assist with signalling projects. Provide technical support, mentoring and advice as required in support of the business. Ensure that all work is delivered in accordance with technical, safety and quality standards. p>

JMDR’s wiring facilities for assembly of location cases, racks and other signalling equipment are at Minto (NSW, Australia) and Noida (Near Delhi, India). - Critical Signalling Resources
- Signalling Construction Works
- Testing and Commissioning
- Workplace Assessment

- Work Packages and Project Documentation
- Updating of Circuit Books and CAD Works
- Audits
The qualifications, knowledge and experience requirements are as below. p>
Qualifications:
- Professional engineering / diploma engineering qualifications (preferably in Electrical) and suitable training courses
- Suitable IRSE Licence (Signalling Principles Designer 1.1.150 or other suitable Certificate of Competency)
Knowledge and experience:
- Significant railway experience in Signal Design (minimum of 3 years experience)
- Experience in RRI and SSI / CBI Interlockings
- Extensive hands on experience is required in design and/or checking signalling circuits, signalling plans, bonding plans, location / REB designs, control tables, operational & control panel diagrams, interface design, data and location drawings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders / interfaces
- Right attitude, ability to plan & organise with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised with efficiency and safely in a team work environment.

Remuneration:
GBP 32,000 to GBP 35,000 PA (Gross) but will not be a limiting factor for experienced and competent applicant.
